ADK Stables provides riding lessons to students 5 years and older.
A Well Rounded Rider
All lessons focus on achieving a solid base of correct equitation from the beginning. We alternate between flat work and jumping work to create well rounded riders.
Learn Horsemanship
Stable management is also a key element at ADK Stables. We take the time to teach all students the correct grooming and tacking up procedures from the beginning.
Students learn how to properly catch their pony in the field, lead, groom, tack up and how to care for their tack once finished riding.
The welfare of our school ponies is of utmost importance. Riders must follow instructions to care for their pony appropriately ensuring the safety, physical and mental well being of both school pony and rider.
Our Coaches
Our coaches bring many years of experience in both riding and coaching to help every student achieve their goals while building confidence and self-esteem.
We are proud to provide a positive atmosphere for all horse enthusiasts to experience the joys of horses.
Lesson Registration
We operate a full program on a routine basis. Riders interested in joining the ADK program are encouraged to contact us with any questions and to set up an introductory tour. Please also complete our waitlist form!
Riding School Semesters
- Spring February 1st - June 30th
- Summer July 1st - August 31st
- Fall September 1st - January 31st
Showing Opportunities
Riders in our Riding School have the opportunity to participate in a schooling show series and silver/bronze circuit. More info on our "Show Team" page.
