ADK Stables offers horse riding day camps & PA Days for children ages 6-16
ADK offers a variety of riding day camps and PA Day Camps for children ages 6-16.
All camps include one group lesson (1 hr long) daily, horsemanship sessions and craft/game.
Each camp strives to create a safe, fun and positive learning environment.
A qualified coach is onsite for each camp along with multiple camp counselors to ensure appropriate supervision.

PA Day Camps
Once we have a better idea on how the school year will be organized we will update people on the status of our PA Day camps.
Our PA Day camps are an ADK tradition and are always a blast!
The day includes a group lesson, stable management, games and a craft.
During our stable management we cover topics; such as daily care, parts of the tack, parts of the horse and first aid.
We encourage students to bring family and friends, riding experience is NOT required!
What to Bring
Children are responsible to bring:
- lunch, snacks & drinks
- weather appropriate clothes (legging/well fitted comfortable pants)
- boot with heel
- hair tied back.

Please sign up early, we only accept 10 riders!
Pony Playground
The total pony experience for a young pony loving rider (Ages 6-14).
Riding experience is NOT required to attend.
Camp days include riding instruction (1 hour daily), games, crafts, horsemanship activities & special events.
We try to arrange guest speakers and demonstrations throughout the week.
The last day of camp includes a special demonstration of skills for family and friends - bring your cameras!
All activities are highly supervised and conducted in a safe environment.
We pride ourselves in creating a fun and safe way for every young child to experience the joy of Summer Camp!
What to Bring
Campers are required to bring their own lunch and drinks each day.
Schedule
Camp runs from 9:00am - 4:00pm
Extended hours 8:30am - 4:30pm (Extended hours: $20 additional per week).
Learn To Show Camp
This camp’s focus is all about horse shows, capped off with riders competing at a local schooling show on the weekend.
Every day includes 1 riding session, geared towards learning about horse show classes, courses, terminology and secrets to show ring success.
Daily Horsemanship topics are geared toward learning how to successfully prepare your pony/horse for a horse show (i.e. braiding, bathing, clipping etc).
There is a strong focus on confidence and mental preparation for a horse show as well as organizational tools and tricks to ensure a positive first horse show experience.
Riders aged 6 & over are welcome.
Riders must be capable of minimum walk/trot without a leader, trot poles and put on their bridle independently.
Riders do not require (however certainly may have) any previous show experience.
